The Modern Greek Studies Program of Rutgers University offers a minor in Modern Greek with the completion of 18 credits. A variety of courses are offered in language, literature, politics, history, religion and culture that shape the Modern Greek world.

The Program offers two years of modern Greek language instruction. A placement test may be taken to place into the second year of modern Greek.

The Program also offers tutoring to both first and second year students. To inquire about the schedule of tutoring call the Director of the Program or the College Avenue LRC.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR:

Students must complete a minimum of six courses (18 credits), of which three courses (9 credits) must be at the 300 level or above. Two semesters of Second Year Modern Greek (201,202), or the equivalent, are required of all students.
